April 26,2014 Make It Take It Oil Painting Workshop

The Painting Lady 1 Art Studio will be having their April 2014 Make It Take It OIl Painting WOrkshop on April 26,2014 from 2pm till 4-5pm or when we finish our painting. Total cost is $40.00 which includes all necessary art suppliew. Just bring a roll of paper towels and a drink snack for the afternoon of painting!! I will posting a picture of our painting project in the coming week!

July 2011 Make It Take It Oil Painting Workshop for The Painting Lady 1 Art Studio

Hell-o Everyone!!

    I am posting our July Make It Take It Oil Painting Project for The Painting Lady 1 Art Studio on Saturday, July 30,2011 from 10AM to 4PM.  The Painting Lady 1 Art Studio is located at 804 Roundabout Court in West Dundee, Ill 60118 lower level of the Lowery Music Studio and Art Building.  Our painting project for this month is a painting I had done a few years ago with my old art teacher, Joan Darflinger, at her art studio, Darflinger Art Studio in St. Charles, Ill.  Then it was titled Misty Island, I believe that Joan had done a painting workshop with Buck Paulson, who had originaly done this painting.  Buck graciously encouraged Joan to do it in one of her workshops!  I have tried for a year or two to do this painting again on my own, but no luck!!!  Things just did not click at all!  Then I decided to try it for my July Make It Take It Oil Painting Workshop and Viola!!!  Everything just came together!!!  Just Love that when that happens!  So I am posting the painting here for you to view, I hope that you will be able to come to our July workshop to have a fun day of painting with your fellow artists!  Again our workshop will be on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 10AM to 4PM, cost is $40.00,which includes all art supplies and instruction.  Wear OLD comfortable painting clothes, bring lunch/drinks for the day and a roll of paper towels!  The Painting LAdy 1 Art Studio is also listed on Facebook and at Triblocal.com so you can take a look there to see what is happening at The Painting LAdy 1 Art Studio!!
